Folk dancer
Carol Chen is a Chinese dance performer. With a passion and practice in dancing since very young age, Carol has been involved in various events for dancing programme in the UK since arriving in London such as the Chinese new year celebration, Mid-autumn festival, Dragon boat festival and Nottinghill Gate Carnival.
Her dancing performance mainly focuses on Chinese traditional folk dance, including fan dancing, handkerchief dancing and ribbon dancing.
Apart from the performances, Carol is also involved in many dance workshops for both adults and kids in order to develop more opportunities for those people in UK who are interested in learning or understanding Chinese dance.
